Methodology

How to read it.

  1. Read the mvrv_ratio_zscore field from the documented CryptoQuant community endpoint.

  2. Distinguish the original metric from its heatmap color. The inspected BTC heatmap uses the 30-day minus 365-day moving-average gap, then places that trend in a trailing 5-year range.

  3. Compare the valuation context with holder behavior and sentiment before drawing a conclusion.

Interpretation limits

A metric called “Z-Score” and a standardized heatmap trend are different transformations. Color is not a measured return or a validated trading signal.
