FAQ
Frequently asked questions about plans and billing
What is resolution? What is a block?
Resolution refers to the time interval for which the data is aggregated. The smaller the resolution, the shorter the time interval to receive the latest data (e.g. day>hour>block). Block resolution is the shortest unit for the on-chain data, meaning that data is updated whenever a new block is created. On average, a new block is created every 10 minutes for Bitcoin and 10 seconds for Ethereum. The time interval may vary depending on the blockchain network condition.
What is the difference between Advanced plan and Professional plan?
The Professional plan is the most popular plan chosen by traders using our service. You can view all real-time charts by subscribing to an Advanced plan, but the number of custom alerts and custom charts available varies by your subscription plan. For Professional plan subscribers, up to 20 custom alerts are provided, whereas the Advanced plan only allows 5 custom alerts. Professional also unlocks on-chain API endpoints (daily resolution), 500,000 monthly credits, 120 requests/min and daily-resolution chart CSV download; Advanced's API covers market data only.
Why do I see Professional priced at both $99 and $109?
They are the same plan on two billing intervals: $109 per month billed monthly, or $99 per month when billed yearly ($1,188 charged once a year). Advanced works the same way ($39 monthly, $29/month yearly); Premium is $799/month on an annual plan only. Use the Monthly / Yearly toggle on the pricing page to compare.
Which plans can download chart data as CSV, and what are the limits?
Chart CSV download is available on Professional for daily-resolution data and on Premium for all resolutions; Basic and Advanced cannot download CSV, and Query (Analytics) CSV export is Premium only. The download covers the metric and asset shown on the chart page (Bitcoin, Ethereum and other supported assets alike); some charts do not support CSV and say so on the button. Files you have already downloaded stay with you after cancellation, but remain under the personal-use licence of your plan.
What is Analyst Consensus?
Analyst Consensus shows what tracked analysts are saying about an asset, as one number. CryptoQuant collects public posts from curated analysts on X, CryptoQuant QuickTakes, Seeking Alpha and Substack, plus sell-side ratings on stocks, labels each post bullish or bearish, and aggregates them into a daily index from −100 (all bearish) to +100 (all bullish) — one vote per analyst over the last 30 days, refreshed hourly — for crypto, US and KR stocks, ETFs and commodities. Every analyst also has a public accuracy track record. Anyone can view it at
; how many analysts you can follow for your Custom Digest and Telegram alerts depends on your plan, and the full-history CSV download and the Analyst Consensus API are included in Premium. It is an aggregate of analysts' opinions, not CryptoQuant's view and not investment advice.
What is Lag?
Lag refers to a certain amount of time delay applied to the charts. Overview charts are provided with seven days lag in day resolution for non-signed up users. However, you’re allowed to access daily overview charts with no lag once you sign up for our free plan. In order to view real-time data in block and hour resolution, you must subscribe to an Advanced or higher plan. Since it takes time to process data, there may be a slight delay in data provision even if we provide the most recent data.
How do I change my subscription plan?
CryptoQuant paid plans are available in the form of annual and monthly subscriptions. You can change your subscription plan at any time by downgrading/upgrading your plan at our pricing page, and your account will be charged or credited based on the percentage of the billing cycle left at the time the plan has been changed. You can still use the service for the remainder of your subscription period even after the cancellation. However, the already subscribed plan is not refundable.
If I switch from yearly to monthly, or downgrade, do I get money back?
No cash refund. The unused portion of the current period is converted to account credit and applied automatically to your next payments. Change the plan or interval on the Pricing page or Billing page; the new plan starts immediately.
Do you have a free trial?
The trial is the Advanced plan free for 7 days, once per account, with a payment method on file. It converts to paid Advanced ($39/month or $29/month billed yearly) when the trial ends unless you cancel first. Professional and Premium have no trial.
Can I skip the trial and pay right away, or move to Professional during the trial?
Yes. Choosing Professional or Premium starts a paid subscription immediately with no trial. If you are on the Advanced trial and upgrade, the change is made through the billing portal and the upgrade takes effect right away.
I was charged after my free trial. Why, and can I get a refund?
The 7-day trial is the Advanced plan with a payment method attached; when the trial ends it converts to a paid Advanced subscription ($39/month or $29/month billed yearly) unless you cancel before the trial ends. If you did not use the plan after the charge, request a refund within 24 hours of the charge; after that the charge is not refundable, but you can cancel renewal and keep access until the period ends.
What is an API key? Why don't I have an API key?
Every plan, including the free Basic plan, can create an API key in Settings → API. What differs by plan is the data: market data on Basic and Advanced, market and on-chain data on Professional and Premium, with resolution, history and monthly credits scaling by plan.
We need higher API limits and custom features for our institution
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can always cancel your paid plan at any time by clicking [Cancel plan] button on the billing page. You’ll be able to keep your paid plan for the remaining period until the next billing date.
Does a yearly plan renew automatically? How do I stop it?
Yes. Monthly and yearly plans both renew automatically at the then-current price unless you cancel before the end of the term. To stop it, open the Billing page and click Cancel plan (or Downgrade to Basic on the Pricing page); you keep full access until the term ends, and you can revert the cancellation any time before then.
How do I delete my account, and what happens if I still have a paid plan?
Go to Settings → Account Management → Delete Account. If a paid plan is still active you cannot delete the account yourself. Cancel the plan first and delete after it expires, or contact support from that screen. Deletion is permanent, removes dashboards, alerts and remaining credits, and the same email cannot re-register for 30 days.
How many users are allowed for an account?
How do I get a refund?
CryptoQuant subscriptions are non-refundable unless you request a refund for an unused plan within 24 hours. After 24 hours, your plan is not refundable but you can always cancel your automatic renewal on the billing page or the pricing page. Your paid plan will remain until the next billing date even after the cancellation.

My plan renewed automatically and I was charged. Can I get that refunded?
Renewals follow the same rule as any charge: a refund is possible only if you request it within 24 hours and have not used the plan in the new period. Otherwise cancel renewal on the Billing page. The plan stays active until the end of the paid period and will not charge again.
