Overview

What does Bitcoin analyst consensus measure?

Analyst Consensus summarizes the directional sentiment of posts that mention BTC within a selected time window. It describes the tracked conversation; it is not a probability of a price increase.

Editorial example · not a market forecast

“Does the on-chain evidence support the story?”

A demand argument can lead to Apparent Demand. A profit-taking argument can lead to Adjusted SOPR. Compare the source, asset and time window before joining the two.

Methodology

How to read it.

  1. Select a 1, 3, 7 or 30-day window in the original consensus view.

  2. Bullish and bullish_nuance posts form the bullish group; bearish and bearish_nuance form the bearish group. Each classified post contributes one count.

  3. The bullish share is bullish ÷ (bullish + bearish). Neutral posts do not enter this denominator. Visible narrative cards are a selected subset, not the full counting population.

Interpretation limits

Coverage, classification and the selected window affect the result. A vocal source can contribute several posts. No current score or forecast is shown in this guide.
