Binance XRP Reserves Hit Lowest Level Since December 2022
XRP reserves on Binance fell to 2.47 billion XRP on October 30, their lowest level since December 2022, following a sharp decline over just two days. Between October 28 and 30, Binance's XRP reserves dropped from 2.69 billion to 2.47 billion XRP, a reduction of 220 million XRP, or 8.18%. The decline was not limited to Binance, with two other major exchanges also recording lower XRP reserves during the same period. Bybit saw its reserves fall from 306 million to 286 million XRP, a decrease of 20 million XRP (6.54%). Bithumb recorded a smaller decline of 10 million XRP, with reserves slipping from 1.847 billion to 1.837 billion XRP (0.54%). Meanwhile, Upbit moved in the opposite direction, with its XRP reserves rising by 20 million, from 6.42 billion to 6.44 billion XRP (0.31%). The figures highlight declining XRP balances across three major exchanges, although the trend was not uniform. Lower exchange reserves reduce the amount of XRP readily available for trading, potentially easing sell-side pressure.
