XRP Investors Are Ready: A Rally May Be Near

The most striking feature in the chart is the widening gap between the leverage ratio and price. When this divergence expands, the market structure becomes unstable and it typically resolves with an aggressive move. Looking at the current setup, the leverage ratio is clearly low and moving sideways. Despite this low-leverage environment, the price is holding relatively high. In other words, the market is no longer being driven by leverage. This suggests the groundwork for a move higher may already be in place. Historically, such divergences (low ratio–high price) don’t persist for long. Either the price drops to meet the ratio, or the ratio rises sharply which is usually accompanied by a strong upward move in price. When the ratio is low, any rally tends to accelerate and become more aggressive as leverage re-enters the market. In this case, leverage has been flushed out, speculative excess has been reduced, and yet the price hasn’t fully collapsed. This implies that when new long-side leverage starts to build, the price reaction is likely to be stronger than usual. With such a clear gap, the market appears calm but is actually in a phase of building potential energy. If the ratio begins to trend upward, it may not just lead to a gradual rise, but to a rapid, squeeze-driven move. In short, periods like this typically don’t result in slow climbs they tend to produce sudden and powerful price expansions.
