Bitcoin Short-Term Holders Resume Profit-Taking as Binance Inflows Break Mid-January High

Bitcoin short-term holders appear to be taking profits again, with inflows to Binance rising to 8,940 BTC — above the 8,530 BTC peak recorded in mid-January. That makes the current move more than a routine increase. It marks a fresh high in short-term holder transfer activity to Binance and suggests profit-taking pressure has returned at a stronger level than the last major peak. The signal comes from short-term holder flows to Binance, which now point to renewed profit-taking activity. When these holders move coins to the exchange while still in profit, it usually reflects profit realization rather than stress selling. However, the 24-hour STH profit-to-exchange reading remains near 20,000 BTC, suggesting that short-term holders are taking profits, but not in the kind of broad, synchronized wave that would point to heavier distribution.
