Aave returns to previous bear market pricing zone
Aave has gone through significant turbulence recently, which created substantial FUD around the project, while the token was already undergoing a sharp correction alongside the broader market. These recent events pushed the token into an even deeper decline. Today, Aave has reached a drawdown of 81.6%, a level of correction that brings it back to valuations last seen during the previous bear market. When drawdowns reach such extreme levels, they can begin to represent attractive opportunities for investors looking to position themselves. It is also interesting to note that, unlike the previous bear market where the drawdowns of Bitcoin and Aave were relatively close, the current setup is very different. Bitcoin’s drawdown is roughly half that of Aave, highlighting how severely Aave and many altcoins have underperformed compared with Bitcoin, which remains the primary driver of the crypto market.
