XRP Investor Is Exhausted
Leverage has collapsed on the chart while price remains weak. The Estimated Leverage Ratio dropped sharply after a spike and is now around 0.16. Both the SMA(30) and SMA(50) are sloping downward. This means the market is no longer over positioned. Speculative traders have been flushed out. Forced liquidation pressure has largely subsided. There is neither excessive long nor excessive short positioning. The derivatives side is calm, which may help ease selling pressure to some extent. The reason the Binance chart is especially important in this analysis is that Binance is the dominant liquidity center in terms of derivatives volume and open interest. In XRP, aggressive long/short flows that drive short term price action largely occur on Binance. Therefore, any increase or collapse in leverage here reflects global risk appetite in real time. While leverage shifts on smaller exchanges may remain local, movements on Binance can trigger chain liquidations and momentum breaks. For this reason, leverage sitting at these lows is not just a technical data point it is a strong signal that speculative energy has genuinely been flushed out of the market. The fact that price is trending downward in parallel with falling leverage can actually be constructive. If leverage were high, the risk of a new liquidation cascade would remain. But right now, the ground is clean. A low leverage environment creates an ideal setup for large players. Opening positions during low volatility is healthier. If even modest spot demand appears, a small price increase could quickly trigger a new leverage build up. In this structure, a sharp crash is unlikely because forced selling pressure has diminished, though fresh demand has not yet arrived. Therefore, XRP may continue to drift in a controlled, sideways-down pattern, exhausting investors over time.
