Over 642 Million Crypto Transactions in September, 40% on TRON ๐Ÿ“Š

Critics often claim that crypto isnโ€™t really being used. I strongly disagree, so I analyzed transaction volumes on major blockchains such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, TRON, Polygon, and Arbitrum. Hereโ€™s what I found ๐Ÿ‘‡ In September alone, more than 642 million transactions* were recorded across the largest crypto networks. The largest share, namely 279 million transactions (40%), took place on TRON, followed by Polygon (112 million) and Arbitrum (87 million). These figures already challenge the idea that crypto has little real-world usage. Looking deeper into the data shows that this isnโ€™t just a one-time spike. Transaction numbers have remained consistently high throughout 2025, suggesting activity isnโ€™t based on speculative or price-driven but reflects broader and fundamental adoption. The chain ratios have been stable as well: TRON at around 40%, Polygon at 16%. The main shift is TON, which reached 12% and ranked third, mostly coming from activity in the start of the year. Of course, transaction count tells only part of the story. Consider USDT on TRON alone, which handled over $687 billion in transfer volume. That scale makes it clear: crypto networks are being used extensively, which is a strong signal of real adoption. *Includes Arbitrum, Avalanche, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Fantom, Optimism, Polygon, TON, Tron. excl.
