Miner Flows to Binance Approach 56,000 BTC Since the Beginning of September
The latest data from Binance indicates that miners have deposited more than 55,000 Bitcoin since the beginning of September. As Binance is the largest exchange in terms of spot and derivatives trading volume, miners are able to offload large amounts of Bitcoin without significantly impacting the price. The data shows a decline in miner flows and weakened selling pressure. Miners appear to have: Reduced their transfers of Bitcoin to Binance. Preferred to hold or sell assets over the counter (OTC). They may be anticipating an upcoming price increase and are therefore holding assets instead of selling them. High price with low flow = net buying power. The continued rise in price, despite the decline in Bitcoin supply from miners, indicates the presence of effective buying demand and the absence of significant selling pressure in the market. This supports the idea that the market is currently in a supply absorption phase. The decline in Bitcoin miner deposits is a positive short-term signal that may serve as a prelude to a new accumulation phase or the continuation of the uptrend. Each major price peak during this period was accompanied by a sharp increase in miner flows to Binance. This reinforces the hypothesis that miners continue to play a crucial role in regulating market liquidity. A strong return of these flows—especially during price weakness—could pose a threat to short-term market stability. Conversely, a continued decline in these flows throughout September could pave the way for a new upward movement, provided that selling pressure does not return.
