XRP Whale–Retail Spread on Binance Hits Highest Level Since October 2024 as Net Outflows Surge
Binance's XRP Whale vs Retail Spread surged to 98.4% on November 4, its highest reading since October 15, 2024, compared with 65.1% across all centralized exchanges. The divergence coincided with a sharp increase in Binance's cumulative whale net outflows. Between October 28 and November 4, the indicator climbed from 399 million to 696.1 million XRP, an increase of 297.1 million XRP, or 74.5%, in just seven days. Sustained exchange withdrawals can reduce XRP reserves and the amount immediately available for spot selling, potentially easing sell-side pressure. Yet the impact on Binance's reserves remains uncertain. The exchange reported replenishing 98% of affected token assets by October 31, while the cumulative outflow indicator does not directly measure remaining XRP reserves.
