Binance Stablecoin Netflow Signals Buying Power Exhaustion Near $78K
Binance stablecoin netflow has flipped into a sharp drainage phase that crypto traders need to monitor carefully. From April 14 through April 22, the exchange absorbed $548 million to $1.14 billion in fresh stablecoins each day while Bitcoin recovered from $74,000 toward $78,000 — textbook buying power accumulation on Binance. That inflow cycle is now over. Since April 28, Binance has recorded five consecutive days of stablecoin outflows ranging from $1.54 billion to $1.78 billion per day. This is the most sustained heavy drainage streak since January 2026, when daily outflows peaked at $3.2 billion as BTC traded near $89,500. Following that episode, Bitcoin dropped roughly 15% before stabilizing near $76,000. The mechanics were identical: stablecoin reserves built up, fueled a rally, then drained as the cycle exhausted itself. The current setup mirrors that structure at a smaller scale. BTC is holding around $78,000, but the exchange-level buying power that drove the April move no longer exists in the same form. For another meaningful upside leg to develop, Binance would need to see a clear reversal back into stablecoin inflows. Until fresh capital arrives, this metric signals caution over continuation.
