BTC Net Taker Volume Falls to -$828M as Binance Selling Pressure Breaks Below April 2 Low

Bitcoin’s short-term market pressure has shifted sharply toward sellers on Binance, but the current move may be closer to a sell-side exhaustion phase than the start of a clean bearish breakdown. The 24-hour Binance cumulative net taker volume dropped to around -$828 million, marking the deepest negative reading since the late-March and early-April sell-pressure zone. This level is also significantly lower than the previous early-April negative spike, when the metric reached around -$497 million on April 2. A negative net taker volume shows that taker sell volume is exceeding taker buy volume, reflecting strong market-selling pressure. The same message appears in the Bitcoin Taker Buy/Sell Ratio on Binance, which has fallen to around 0.89. A reading below 1 means sell orders are dominating buy orders, and the current level matches the zone recorded around March 29. The March 29 reading near 0.89 appeared around a short-term exhaustion phase, when Bitcoin was trading above $66,000 before later recovering. This does not guarantee that the same pattern will repeat, but it shows that similar Binance sell-pressure levels have previously appeared near local stress points rather than only at the start of deeper downside moves. However, because both net taker volume and the taker buy/sell ratio have returned to levels last seen around late March and early April, the current setup looks more like a short-term capitulation or exhaustion zone that traders should monitor closely.
