Binance recorded inflows of 185,000 Bitcoins in October, with whales accounting for 24.7% of them – the highest ratio since July.

The latest data from Binance, which currently records the highest Bitcoin inflows, indicates that during October, Bitcoin transfers from wallets to Binance reached approximately 185,000 BTC, marking an increase compared to the amount deposited on the platform in September. Typically, increased inflows are interpreted as a potential sign of growing selling pressure, especially considering the price surges Bitcoin experienced October. However, it may also reflect traders waiting for a specific selling opportunity—such as a sudden price spike—particularly since Bitcoin has not fallen below $100,000 despite the sharp fluctuations that occurred. This suggests that the movement may be a technical adjustment within the market cycle, reflecting investors’ reactions to current price levels rather than a wave of mass selling. In contrast, whales accounted for approximately 24.7% of the total inflows to Binance—more than 45,000 BTC, the highest level since last July. This indicates strong momentum among whales in terms of transfers during October, a month characterized by significant price volatility. Such a volume of whale activity suggests that large holders are in a market observation and repositioning phase rather than a disposal or liquidation phase. Historically, movements of this kind often precede increased activity in futures markets or a strategic adjustment of positions ahead of a potential new trend wave. In other words, whales are currently moving strategically and flexibly, without showing any clear intention to exit the market.
