S&P hits record $6 600 while BTC still lags

It had been a year since BTC’s trend last decoupled from that of the S&P 500. Normally, the correlation ratio between BTC and the S&P 500 remains positive, showing that they tend to move in the same direction. The last time such a distortion occurred, BTC had just corrected below $54 000 while the S&P 500 continued its strong upward trend. Not long after, BTC caught up and even broke above the $100 000 mark. Today, the S&P 500 has just closed above $6 600 for the first time in history, pulling ahead of BTC, which recently corrected below $108 000. If the current trend continues, we could soon see a BTC reaction to narrow this gap.
