TRON Sees a Sharp Rise in USDT Deposits Toward Exchanges, Surpassing 2 Million Weekly Transactions
Data indicates that September saw a strong peak in deposit activity to TRON exchanges. This increase reflects the expanding use of USDT as a primary liquidity bridge for spot trading, derivatives, and cross-exchange transfers. Sustained high liquidity momentum: Reaching 2.07 million weekly transactions places September among the highest levels of activity on TRON in recent months, with an upward trend that began in mid-summer and accelerated in August–September. This reflects the confidence of users in TRON for deposits. Furthermore, the high number of transactions indicates strong user activity on the exchanges. The three largest exchanges (OKX, Binance, and Bybit) account for ~86.8% of total transactions, while OKX and Binance alone account for ~73.7%. This concentration reflects the operational liquidity pool where most funding and settlement orders are placed. If the growth in the number of transactions on the TRON network continues over the coming weeks, it indicates a strong demand for liquidity. Deposit density typically precedes or accompanies higher activity in spot trading and derivatives, reducing hedging costs. The flattening of the curve and the reduction of sharp gaps compared to previous turbulent periods indicate a more stable behavior in digital dollar liquidity management via TRON. September consolidates TRON's position as the primary operational layer for USDT liquidity. The weekly reading (~2.07 million transactions), with OKX and Binance dominating and Bybit's rising contribution, reflects a deeper market, more diversified deposit channels, and more operational maturity.
