Pax Dollar(ERC20): Active Sending Addresses

Chart Description

Active Sending Addresses measures the total number of unique on-chain addresses that initiated transactions within a given period, isolating the sending side of network activity to capture the breadth of participants actively moving coins rather than simply receiving them.

A rising count indicates that more distinct holders are initiating on-chain transactions - reflecting growing network engagement from the supply side. Because sending activity requires a deliberate decision to move coins, this metric is a more direct indicator of active holder behavior than total active addresses, which includes passive recipients. Spikes in sending addresses can reflect a range of behaviors - from broad distribution and selling activity to increased peer-to-peer transfers and exchange deposits - and are best interpreted alongside directional flow metrics to determine intent.

Sustained growth in active sending addresses over time is generally associated with expanding network utility and increasing on-chain liquidity, while a declining count during periods of price strength may signal that fewer holders are actively participating in the move - a potential divergence worth monitoring.
