OKB: Total Supply

Chart Description

Total Supply measures the total number of coins that have been issued and exist on the network at any given point in time, representing the aggregate circulating supply of the asset across all addresses - including exchange wallets, miner holdings, long-term holder addresses, and coins that have remained dormant for extended periods.

Total supply increases incrementally with each newly mined or validated block at a rate determined by the protocol's issuance schedule. For assets with fixed supply caps, total supply serves as a foundational reference point for scarcity-based valuation frameworks - as supply approaches its ceiling, the rate of new issuance trends toward zero, fundamentally shifting the economic incentive structure for network participants responsible for block production.

Tracked alongside realized price, exchange reserve, and holder behavior metrics, Total Supply provides essential context for interpreting supply-side dynamics - distinguishing between coins actively participating in market activity and those effectively removed from circulation through loss, long-term dormancy, or intentional holding.
