Bitcoin: Trader On-chain Realized Price Bands
Trader On-chain Realized Price is the average acquisition price of coins aged between one and three months — the cost basis of medium-term traders — surrounded by bands set at fixed profit and loss margins.
In bull markets the central line acts as support: traders sitting at breakeven have little reason to sell. In bear markets it flips to resistance, as underwater traders take the first chance to exit at cost. The regime determines which way to read it.
The outer bands mark behavioural extremes. Price reaching the upper bands signals elevated profit-taking risk, while the lower bands have acted as the floor where even distressed selling exhausts itself.
API — /v2/community/bitcoin-trader-realized-price returns the realized price and all four bands.
